I have recently acquired a Goldstar 1440 monitor. It is supposedly a
multisyncing monitor, but the specs say the resolution will only do 800x560.
Several questions:
1. I have an adapter that will do 800x600 and 1024x768. Can I damage the
monitor or the card by trying any of these resolutions.
Can this monitor handle those resolutions?
2. What does 1024x768 interlaced mean? (my card does this).
The scanning frequencies on the monitor are :
H - 15-35 KHZ
V - 45-85 HZ
3. Does this have anything to do with why the resolution is said to be 800x560?
4. Has anyone used this monitor? experiences?
