[comp.sys.ibm.pc] TC 2.0 Patch?

mk@vall.dsv.su.se (Magnus Karlson) (08/08/89)

I have encounterd some incorrect code generation bugs in Turbo-C ver 2.0
and was wondering if anyone know if there exist any patch for TC?

The known bug we have (we suspect more but we haven't pinned them down
yet) generates one extra push and the programs disapere into nowere land.

I have not put together a short file which shows the error yet, but if
there are no patch avalibel i will do so and post.

I would be gratefull for any information on this or other known bugs
in Huge model.

Please post. I just received the latest batch of Turbo C patches (named
TCPAT727) which fixes several problems, but nothing involving spare PUSHes,
to my knowledge.

I was having a problem with a rather long printf() statement some time ago
myself; never did figure it out, and finally just split the line in half.
To my utter shock, it worked.

Spare lines because I quoted you. Eat cheese or die.
