I have had alot of experience with NORTHGATE and customer complaints. You can get a replacement machine from NORTHGATE or another monther board if you play your cards right. The memorty cards from NORTHGATE never worked! That is why they cannot sell you one. Knowing this you can call PAT BORN in charge of customer service and tell her the story; how you were told it was avaiable and now it is not and if you would have known this you wouldn't have bought the anchor in the first place. Misleading advertising. Second write or call (ohh darn I forgot his name, somethin Held) he owns the place. He is nice to talk to and will get things done. He dosent have the time or inclination to argue. "If it don't work he'll make someone fix it" I suggest a call after or even before talking to Pat Brown They are both niece people. The sales reps suck eggs durring lunch. Third talk to Scott in tech support. He knows everthing. The ram board is a dedicated board. It is my understanding that you won't find one that wasn't made by Nortgate, and theirs don't work. In short NORTHGATE is great on customer service and tech support. You just need to know who to talk to and how. I should know I bought one machine had it replace twice and would probably buy another. (my IQ is bigger than my shoe size.) If you wnat MR. The Northgate 386 -16 comes from the factory with an EVEREX RAM 3000 16 bit ram card acpable of 3 megs. I know because that is what they sent in 2 of my maachines. i have never used them though. Do you want to? --- * QDeLuxe 1.10 #1809 WHEN IS THE ENGLISH VERSION OF DOS COMING OUT?
