[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Model 80 Hard disk - summary

guarna@uicsrd.csrd.uiuc.edu (08/11/89)

In case anyone is interested I ended up buying a Priam hard disk as a second
disk for a PS/2 Model 80 running AIX. I plugged it in, booted AIX, and
it worked -- no low-level format, no trouble, no kidding. When was
the last time this happened to you? The Model 80 is a 80-111, and the
Priam disk drive is an ID300-PS071 (330 Meg). If anyone else is
considering this, I can at least report one good experience.
