[comp.sys.ibm.pc] OKIDATA uL82a - HELP again?

Thanks for the replies, they've been very helpful.  I now have an explanation
of the switch settings but the printer still does not work with WordPerfect
5.0.  I've been told by Okidata that WordPerfect does not recommend the uL82a
for use with version 5.0 probably for the reasons we're encountering.  I'd
be interested in knowing if anyone else successfully using a uL82a with
WordPerfect 5.0.

Someone sent me mail talking about a product that they bought for their printer
that replaces some the the chips and makes the printer more compatible.  Who
ever you are, could you please re-mail the name of the product.  I've somehow
lost the mail from you and now that product looks like it may be the only
hope next to selling the printer.

I'd be interested in any suggestions people might have as well.
