I'd like to add a 3.5" floppy to my 8mhz pc clone. I currenly have two 5.25" floppys run of a multi i/o card (japanese) and a miniscribe 3650 hd run of a WD controller. I would like to add the 3.5" floppy as a third floppy without removing one of my other floppys. My controller can only handle 2 drives so I will have to buy another controller card. Some questions I have: Can you have two floppy controllers in a PC (I don't want to remove my multi i/o card if posible since it contains my 2 serial ports and my parallel port). How is this done? any particular problems? Will I have to by another i/o card (minus floppy) and a 4 floppy controller card. Is it possible to have two boot floppys. I would like to be able to boot on the odd occasion from the 3.5" floppy but I can live with it, if it is not possible. Any thing else I need to know. Please reply via email to garyb@iotek.uucp Thanks Gary <<<<<<******>>>>>> Gary R. I would like to be Never heard of this being done before, though it would be interesting to see how it is done!(If indeed possible). Good luck.
