I am learning to program in C on IBM PC-AT. I am using the AT to control several devices via IEEE and D/A. I send a pulse to the external trigger on a HP multiplexer. I want the multiplexer to send a SRQ to the AT immediately after the trigger. Once the AT is interupted by the SRQ, it will send a word to a parallel port. My problems are: 1) How can I make the HP multiplexer to send SRQ upon the external triggering? 2) How can I make the AT to react to the SRQ? Any help is appreciated.
