Hi! To anyone out there that has bought the EWB Commissioner's Disk, have you found the scheduler to be totally brain dead? If asked to do an AL schedule, you'll have teams playing something like 80 games in a row. The NL schedule is even worse - the scheduler schedules all 162 games consecutively. Don't the brain-dead idiots at EA know anything about baseball? Does anyone know if EA realizes this problem and if there is any effort to fix it? Can someone in the Bay area call'em and find out [(415) 571-7171]? I do like the other stuff, such as the in-depth stat sorting. Thank god that you can now give individual teams day(s) off -- allowing you to play a real schedule. I still wish they'd work on my two big rmaining grips: 1) pitching stats for non-pitchers are not kept (don't laugh - I once played a 17 inning game where I had to bring in an outfielder to pitch... and he got the win!) 2) batting stats for pitchers are not kept Both these problems manifest themselves in team totals, since team totals are computed by adding up individual totals. It certainly doesn't make the game unplayable, but it is annoying. One final thing about the commish disk. EA lied abotu the park designing utility. Take something like Fenway and load it into the design utility. It will look nothing like it does when actually playing EWB. Changing the subject, does anyone know if EA has any plans to bring Bird-Jordan to the Amiga? Last I called they said "No way!"
