[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Alternatives to Compaq memory modules.

gahooten@ames.arc.nasa.gov (Greg A. Hooten) (08/26/89)

I am about to order four megabytes for a Compaque 386 20E, and
would like to know if I have an alternative other than
ordering the Compaq memory module. I have 5 megs in the
system and want to move it to 9 megs. I have the memory
board, and now only need to add the module. It is part number
113132-001. I have never seen this, and wonder if it is
prapriatary memory, or if there is another source for these
componants. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, we have modules from third-party sources that will work, and they are a
lot cheaper than Compaq's overpriced nonsense.

Contact us directly for details and pricing; since this is a non-commercial
area I don't want to post an "Ad" in comp.sys.ibm.pc....
