Key words: 3B15 TI1500 DEC8200 What ever happened to our old friend the LINE EATER? I am in the Competitive Information/Services Group at NCR's manufacturing facility in Columbia, SC. My group is currently looking into the performance of multi-processor computers, as well as those of comparable price and speed. I have been searching for the last several months for access to the following systems: AT&T 3B15 8 - 16 MBytes of memory 8 or more CRTs UNIX SYSV DEC 8200/8300 8 - 16 MB of memory 8 or more CRTs Ultrix/32 TI 1500 8 - 16 MBytes of memory 8 or more CRTs UNIX SYSV I want to run a set of benchmarks which were written here in Columbia on these systems. I will need as few users on the system as possible, therefore,I am willing to run the tests at night or on weekends. Or I will send the tests to you for execution. In exchange for running the tests I will provide the following: 1. Money. I will pay for the time on the systems, as well as the time for anyone necessary to assist me. 2. Will provide full source code of the NCR System Characterization Benchmark to you FREE. 3. Will provide results gained from tests to you at time of testing. Please let me know if you have access to any of the systems listed above, or know of someone who might have access. Or even someone who might have a third cousin twice removed, who has an uncle, who.... Your assistance in this will be greatly appreciated! Not to mention saving my neck. Thanks!
