I have heard that at a series of private screenings designed to test audience reaction to different endings that the one where Spock dies was the clear "winner". As has been mentioned, if this is the case, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that through some miracle Spock didn't REALLY die and that by golly he's back for ST-3. I also heard a release date of June 4 for the movie at 1200 theaters throughout the nation. Rick (uwvax!rodolf)
