Hello out there all you friendly wonderful ms-dos users- :-) I'm posting this note for a friend. He was recently promoted to the post of technical support and coordinator, at a moderately sized civil engineering firm, and is looking for some software to help with project management. The program in question should be able to setup some sort of a project time- line, establish check points, be able to access a database (internal or external) and print reports, etc. General civil engineering stuff I guess. If this was just a portion of another more comprehensive, overall engineering package, that would be all right too. Cost is moderately important. There willing to pay for good software, but of course the less expense the happier everyone will be. Their shop has several ms-dos machines, all clones. No networking.
