I have an AT-clone with 512K (2 rows of 41256-12). Am I correct in assuming that I can do either of the two following things? 1. Get 2 rows of 4164's to put in the remaining 2 rows, to total 640K. 2. Get 2 rows of 41256's to put in the remaining 2 rows, to total 1024K. The upper 384K (above 640K), I understand, can be made into ramdisk. I don't believe I need to change any motherboard jumpers. Correct? What are best prices for 18 4164's or 18 41256's (150 ns is probably okay)? I am open to used as well as new.
