Well, it so happens I got a reasonably good paying job this semester and instead of putting the money in some shady deal like food or education I've decided to expand my XT compatible to an AT compatible, with a VGA board. I already have the VGA board picked out, but not purchased. It is the 256k VGA Wonder by ATI technologies, list price $419. I've based my decision on the comparison of VGA boards in PC Resources magazine. Caveats, anyone? What I really want to know, though, is if there has been a comparison of AT upgrade BIOSs (BIOSae? BIOSie?) in a reputable magazine. I am more interested in a comparison or review of such kits, rather than personal opinion, but any help you care to send along will be appreciated.
