A friend of mine, that does not have access to the net, asked me
this question and I don't know the answer. I figured I'd shoot
it to the net and see what the net.experts have to say.
When my friend was runnign WordPerfect 4.x, she added a French
language dictionary and everything worked fine. Now that she has
upgraded to 5.0 she is having all sorts of problems.
The most important problem is with the spelling checker. It is
now flagging all the apostrophes. French has lots of these
(contractions?) and they are perfectly correct grammatically.
Things like "l'heure" will be flagged. I suspect that she
forgot/neglected to do something in the set up, but I don't know
what that might be.
