It had not occurred to me when I saw TWOK but when I saw "Space Seed" last night I realized the error. I am referring to the fact that in TWOK, when Checkov and Khan met up, Khan said something to the effect that he could never forget a face, i.e. Checkov. However, Chekov did not appear in the Star Trek series until the second season and hence was not even in "Space Seed". I cannot see how Khan and Chekov could have met in the interim. Granted that this is a minor point and does not impact the movie's story line at all. However, since Roddenberry, writers and the rest seem to have tried to follow up "Space Seed" accurately it is surprising to me that this was overlooked. Any comments? Norman Wright p.s. I was also looking through some old books and one of them said that "Space Seed" was episode #22 while another said it was #24. Any body got the answer? (anybody really care? )

Apologies to those who may have got this message already. Technical difficulties, and Scottys on vacation.
