I have been trying out a new comm package called Telemate but I have been having some troubles with downloading using MSKermit V 2.31. Kermit is not built into Telemate but must be called as an external program. My problem is that if I abort a file during a download the Telemate terminal freezes once MSKermit finishes and I reenter Telemate. I would like to send a ctrl-c to the mainframe from which I am downloading but I can't seem to send anything. It won't hang up using alt-h, I can't send local commands to the modem, etc. It is only the terminal window itself that has this problem. I can still shell out, exit, use other telemate windows, etc. but I can't send any signals out in the terminal window. Anyone else have this problem? Thanks. Richard T. I've been having the same troubles with Telemate. I can't send any commands to the modem by typing them in the terminal window. But it sounds like you were luckier in getting it to dial out. I can't even get it to do that. Maybe someone out there can tell us why Telemate isn't working for some of us? I can't use the program the way it is, and I'd like to because it has a lot of nice features. ...Art
