I just got a 1.44M drive for my AT clone running Micronics BIOS. The
problem is that the machine can only be configured for drives up to
1.2M. I'm sure that all I need to do is put a line in my config.sys
file. BTW, I'm running IBM DOS 3.3. Any suggestions?
JOn.

If you haven't rec'd an answer yet about the config.sys statement to get DOS 3.3 to recognize your 1.44M drive, I can only give rough directions: read about DRIVPARM in the DOS book. The instructions are correct. The only thing to add is a CONTROL-A right after the equals sign (after you hit the control-Z to end the editing (using edlin), the equals sign will have a smiley face where you typed the control-A. MINE WON'T WORK WITHOUT THIS.
