I am using Lotus 3.0 on the original PC's Limited motherboard. MY machine is similar to the Smartview systems except in two regards. Although I have the Smartview motherboard, I do not have a Smartview display (I do have the plugs but no display). As a result of a number of compatibility problems with the A00 through D00 bios roms with my add on hard disk with an Adaptec 2372 hard disk, I have a truely "limited" (pardon the pun) Phoenix BIOS which was given to me in an attempt to solve those problems. At any rate, the LOTUS 3.0 does run, but it is *very* fussy. I had to give it extended and expanded memory and I basically could not run it with anything that used the extended memory. Lotus basically told me that the software requires 384K of extended memory. As you probably know, if you set up the motherboard with 640k of base memory, the other 384k is wasted. Lotus totally barfs on 512K base system. If I can be of further assistance, please let me know.
