I have a friend who's running a mono 10Mhz AST/286 with 2mb ram, and an 80 mb MFM Segate. He'd like to upgrade to (super)VGA but is concerned about compatibility problems with his platform. He's mainly interesed in running the following DTP software... ventura pagemaker wordperfect He says the ATI Wonder Card people claim that problems have surfaced with some AST boxes... it seems that some AST powersupplies interact badly with the ATI card.
