[comp.sys.ibm.pc] PC won't start with V20

BP3@PSUVM.BITNET (Larry Belan) (09/27/89)

This is really bugging me....

I have an IBM PC and switched the 8088 for a V20.
When i power up the pc it hangs there (and dosen't start the POST)
until i power it off then on again. It seems to do this after the power
has been off for about 5-10 minutes or longer.

The same PC with the 8088 starts up every time!
Has something on the motherboard noticed the V20 or is the power supply
about ready to go?

I tried another V20 and it does the same thing.

Any ideas?
