I've been using a 386 machine now with the AMI BIOS for about a month, and for the most part have had no problems. However, and a big however, a particular piece of database software that I use which makes heavy use of direct disk I/O (INT 13 etc.) in place of DOS File I/O, runs into problems when the machine is operated in Turbo Mode. The problems appear to indicate that either disk errors are not being reported correctly, or ignored completely. I'm using a Western Digital controller with a 40Mb Miniscribe disk drive, if that make any difference. I've run diagnostics on the disk using the WD utilities, and don't see any problems reported. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks in advance. Herb Lison
