Hi. I wanna know if YOU (Yes, you) are using Cristopher J. Ambler's Fubar Systems UUCP (FSUUCP). Don't worry this is not a warning to pay registration fees;- (I know you have paid it already). No, I really want to know if this package is a working copy or more clearly put I NEED HELP with that program. I downloaded from Simtel FSUUCP1B.ARC and configured it for my environment and thought that I got all together and right. But when I tried my first callout all I got was a response that stated that 'fsuucp error: no modem reset of port 1' I have an internal modem so it is com2 and least the port is right. Any help would be welcome. Oh, and then there were a note about file called X00.SYS (Fossil protocol) that WAS NOT INCLUDED in the archive. Is it a key to working copy of this package.
