[comp.sys.ibm.pc] OS/2 hardware requirements?

I am currently assembling a 286 AT for myself, intending to run
IBM OS/2 1.1 on it.  I need advice on disk controllers:

1.  What does OS/2 require of the controller and
    the floppy and hard disk drives?

2.  Could anyone give me any recommendations on what to buy?
