We use a program called SELPATH developed by Richard Turnock. His Compuserve address is 73417,156 bu tI don't have Compuserve access. SELPATH is used to redirect file open requests. For example, if program FRED normally opens a file called ONE, you can install SELPATH and instruct it to open the file TWO whenever it receives a file open request for a file called ONE. This is very useful for making software work that isn't network "friendly". The problem we are having is caused by the SELPATH program not releasing the handles it allocates so that eventually programs won't load claiming that there are no more file handles available. We believe we are using the program correctly so assume it is a bug in the version of SELPATH which we have (version 1.0). Does anyone have any experience with this program or know if there is a newer version.
