Does anybody have a source for the 16550A UART (buffered 16 bytes) which replaces the 16450 UARTS used in AT's which has been mentioned on the net? Thanks in advance. David Chou ncoast!dchou@hal.cwru.edu dchou@ncoast.org

Thanks in advance. I haven't seen any dos source, but on my bbs there is a unix driver that takes advantage of the 16550 buffer. Maybe it will help to write a dos driver. Of coarse alot of dos com programs do there own setups which may disable the fifo.
