My mailer couldn't find this person. I regret having to post to get through... Pete ----------------------------------------------------------------- > > This sounds interesting. Where did you get the program from? (or for that > matter, could it be mailed?) I have used a program called Mr. Bartender, but > it was pretty limited (would report that you need 40 dashes of something, > without converting). > > Thanks, > > Mark Mark, I obtained the software from a software house (one of those places that sells copies of shareware and PD software). Most any of them have this program. It is called PC Bartender and was written by Bill Pearl of Dinosaur Distributers back in 1986. It seems like a nice program. Here are a few of the things that you are supposed to be able to do with it: add, delete, or change the drink recipes call on a recipe by name, type, content, or by comparing to what you have listed in your inventory file (which I'm having problems with). give lists of alternate alcohols and varying names for the same alcohols This program has been basically unsoported for a few years. The author took it off his shelf and decided to put it out as shareware to see what would happen with it. Becasue it hasn't been touched for a couple of years, its recipes seem to lack a bit (but you are supposed to be able to change this). If you have access to bitnet, I should be able to send it to you. I don't know if I could send binaries to you over internet (if you know how, do tell). If you would prefer, I could give you the phone numbers of a few of the shareware houses and you could ask for their free catalogues. Pete -- Peter P. Donohue ppd491@albny1vx.bitnet .
