I have a Tandly 1000TL with MS-DOS 3.3 and DeskMate in rom and a
Miniscribe 40 MB hardcard. In trying to install MS-DOS 4.1 there
is no way that I can get the system to recognize the rom as any
disk drive. I have reconfigured the disk several times. Going
back to 3.3 it reappears as drive d: or e: depending on how you
fdisk. I need to access the rom for the DM programs and the
spell checker.
Anybody else run into this problem? Any suggestions would be
appreciated.
