I have a 300+ megabyte ESDI hard drive from miniscribe with an access rate of around 16ms. I need a controller... I would like something 1> dependable 2> compatible with such things as SpinRite 3> FAST Read FAST any way you like. If you can tell me about cached controllers that work nicely, great... anything would be appreciated... This is for running under MS-DOS 4.01. Another thing, if possible, I'd like it to be able to be used under DesqView (I've heard that some controllers come to their knees when DesqView windows are doing multiple requests... I guess caching would help this significantly). My price range is wide open, so make suggestions... Send mail to me and I will post a summary.
