[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Logitech Mouse Driver & Microsoft Word 5.0 Incompatibility

There seems to be an incompatibility between the Logitech mouse driver
Release 3.43, and Microsoft Word 5.0.  Most of the time it works, but
occasionally it puts up all sorts of pretty colors and characters on
the screen, with the only solution being to scroll the document up,
and scroll it back down.  Does anyone know of a fix to this?  I would
call Microsoft support, but I would like the problem solved, and this
way, I don't need an interpreter to translate back and forth into English.

Contact Logitech for a newer driver, we got version 4.T1 and the
problem you mentioned has gone away.

You can call Logitech's BBS to get a new mouse driver that was written to
fix the problems you mentioned.  Their number is:
      --> 1-415-795-0408 <--
I'm not sure, but I think you have to be registered to get it.
BTW, I have the new driver (which is beta version 4TI) and it works fine.
