All I'm looking for is an alarm clock function for my PC. Ideally it would pop up a window at a predetermined time with some text message that I supply. It should pop up over what ever is on screen (don't know about graphics). I would like to be able to set multiple alarms and it would be nice if a clock could also be displayed in some corner of the screen. BrownBag's Homebase will do this but with a lot of overhead, I don't need all the other features that come with it. I wouldn't mind the overhead if I could load it in hi RAM on my '386 but DESQview's load-hi bombs on the 3rd module of Homebase. Does anyone know of software that provides a message-alarm clock that takes up minimal RAM and won't fight with Sidekick? Or a package that will replace Sidekick's dialer and notepad and add the alarm but not use up 160K of ram? Will PC TOOLS DELUX do this? Answers apprecitated.
