It's time to choose a 386 machine as a file server for a small LAN and as a software testbed. I'm personally partial to Zenith machines, due to experience with them more than anything else, but our agency is trying to standardize on Tandy machines. I've seen plenty of their 286 models around here, but not many 386 machines, and so I'm not sure how to compare them. Even the recent BYTE benchmarks haven't gotten around to including Tandy's highend machines that I can see (AT bus, not MC). Opinions requested on either Tandy or Zenith's 386 offerings, from folks with personal experience. Your affiliation doesn't matter, as long as its spelled out (if any)! I imagine email might be the best vehicle, but as always, postings of general interest should appear here as well. Thanks!!!
