   Fractint 9 has been out for a while, and includes
   3-D Fractals, Projections on spheres etc.
   ie. You can now create planets and surfaces with Mandelbrot/Julia sets
   etc.
   You can ftp it from f.ms.uky.edu and it is called fraint.exe and is
   a self extracting archive under ms-dos.
   There is also some other goodies at f.ms.uky.edu so go ftp to it
   if you have time to kill.
