Keywords: MS-KERMIT vs. PS/2 Model 55
A friend of mine has a problem with running KERMIT on his IBM PS/2 Model 55
(80386SX). He is attempting to connect to a DECserver 200 terminal server to
access his VAXen when he gets the first two characters of the terminal server
prompt ("Lo" as in "Local>") and then junk characters. And then nothing but
junk characters continue to be displayed.
Parity, bits and all that kind of stuff is correct.
He has talked with the guys from big blue and they are bad mouthing kermit.
Has anybody else had this happen on a model 55?
He has had the mother board replaced but the problem continues to occur.
