I've recently begun to run dvieps in conjunction with sbtex on my ibm xt, but can't seem to get dvieps to produce output appropriate to my printer. Is there anyone out there who's actually gotten it to work on a standard ibm graphics printer? I'd think that it should work fine; the documentation claims it only uses 240/216 pixels/inch, which I know works, since I have other programs which use it. In particular, dvieps is sending my printer the code <ESC> * <data> in the position that I'd expect graphics commands. I've long ago lost my printer manual, so I don't have a complete list of escape commands, but the list I do have claims that <ESC> Z is the right graphics command. Anyone with a manual know what <ESC> * does? Thanks for whatever help you're able to provide, Steven C.
