[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Looking for 8" floppy cntrl on PC

stevel@hp-ptp.HP.COM (Steve_Lin) (10/12/89)

Is there anyone still making 8" floppy controller for XT/Clone?
Prefer the one that can read/write single and double density format.

Thanks in advance.

    Micro Solutions
    132 W. Lincoln Hwy.
    DeKalb, IL 60115
    (815)756-3411

They've been around for years and are good people to deal with.
They make a card for your XT that will allow you to connect
everything from an 8" drive to a 3.5" 2.8 megabyte drive to your
computer. You can even run CP/M on it!

A couple of years ago I got one through Flagstaff Technology out of
Flagstaff, AZ. It worked, but it had a premium price: $750.
