I recently purchased an 8" drive (more for show than anything), and I was wondering if it would be possible to hook it up to my IBM AT. The drive has a 5 pin power connector (I have a connector to connect to it, I'd just need to know what power to hook up to each wire and then I can link it to a standard power connector), and an edge connector that is larger than a normal floppy drive (I don't have it right here, so I can't count the number of connections). If anyone can provide any information, it would be appreciated. I'd like to know what kind of controller card I'll need, special cables, or at least the pin-outs for the drive... Please mail all replies, as I don't think this is a very common "problem". I'll post back to the net with whatever solution I reach. ------- Tom "Shark" Collins Since ICS is comprised of 2 people, my views tbc101@psuvm.psu.edu are the opinion of at least 50% of the company.
