[comp.sys.ibm.pc] PHEONIX AT BIOS INFO NEEDED!!

gcw20877@uxa.cso.uiuc.edu (George Wang) (10/20/89)

I am using a Motorola 12 MHz IBM AT clone that uses the
Pheonix 3.10 BIOS....

What I need is the list of Hard Drive types, the corresponding
numbers, and the specfic info on the drive types (heads, tracks,
rll/mfm, etc...) The manual I got was a generic manual
which did not cover the pheonix bios...

If you could tell me the number to Pheonix Corp or tell me the
following info I would appreciate it... Please email me...

Info needed for following drive types:
1> 15 heads, 1224 cylinders, 26 sectors per track (RLL), 8 platters
2> 15 heads, 1024 cylinders, 26 sectors per track, 8 platters
3> 15 heads, 918 cylinders, 26 sectors per track, 8 platters
4> 8 heads, 1024 cylinders, 26 sectors per track

Also, if you have the corresponding MFM (17 sector per track) equivalent
for the above drives I would appreciate it..

Thanks in Advance!
George
