Recently, a couple of our older machines (XTs with 20 meg. hard drives) have been failing. Some of the messages I've seen include: "Seek error reading drive C" "General failure error reading drive C" and, when I tried to make the best of a bad job, "Formatting... disk unsuitable for system disk" Can anything be done with these old workhorses? I know that disks eventually wear out but I don't know enough about the hardware side of things to know whether or not they can be (temporarily?) fixed through software. Thanks in advance.
