Steve, best bet is to call Zortech in the US or London as appropriate since they've just released their 2.0 version. Greg Comeau Computing

A friend lent me a copy for evaluation; while I haven't had time to look at it very carefully, much less to try it out, I can at least post the contents. The chapters in the manual mention the following types of classes: bit vectors; singly linked lists; doubly linked lists; dynamic arrays; binary tree search tables; hashed search tables; packed BCD arithmetic; virtual arrays; time and date; real time clock; directory; filename; interrupt vector; critical error; string editor; date editor; text windows; and text editing. Sorry I can't say more at this point. -- Non-disclaimer: My boss and I always see eye-to-eye (every time I look in the mirror). ...!genrad!mrst!sdti!wmm

I bought it and tried to use it with Zortech C++ v1.07e. Four out of their 19 packages refused to even compile! Some that compiled did not run. I used the dynamic array package more than the others. I thought it worked fine until I discovered that constructors are not called for the elements of the array. That's not "generic" dynamic arrays. I talked to someone at Zortech. They only have one version selling, and they don't seem to have upgrades / patches available. Need I say more? Jean-Luc Brouillet brouille.stanford.edu
