One person previously remarked that it was inconsistent that Khan should know of the Vulcan saying, "Revenge is a dish best served cold". This person did not think it likely that Khan's wife simply told him of this saying during their "stay" on Regula whatever. I don't mean to dispute him on this, although it seems a plausible enough explanation to me. After all, I guess wives and husbands can and do talk about just anything. My query is this: what on earth does the saying mean? Does it mean that revenge is best handled logically as opposed to emotionally (i.e. cold and calculating instead of in the "heat" of passion?). But why just revenge then? Why not everything? Why not "Discussing federation gossip is a dish best served cold?" Anyway, in the unlikely event that this is what the saying means, why does Khan quote it to express his current actions which are, to say the least, done with extreme emotion and passion?
