[comp.sys.ibm.pc] Looking for a cheap memory upgrade

frisk@rhi.hi.is (Fridrik Skulason) (10/28/89)

I have a 25Mhz HP Vectra with only 1Meg memory that I would like to upgrade
to 4Meg or so. Not a serious problem, just that memory is VERY expensive
here in Iceland. In fact it would cost me something like US$ 4000, if I
bought it from HP here.

So - can anybody suggest a cheaper way ?

Sorry just realized that your number to note relationship might not be the

Hi, I am posting this for a friend of mine. Please contact him *NOT ME* if
you are interested in his stuff. See below:

		comments to the SYSOP)

I can say that he has been fair in his dealings with me. He will not return
any long distance calls via voice phone but, will answer all inquiries on
his BBS. Quantity ** prices may be negotiable ** and he will warranty the

Last but not least, I am doing this as a favor and receive no money from his
