PLEASE RESPOND TO THE FOLLOWING BY E-MAIL.
I have a friend who has just bought a PC-compatible system and is
trying to get his Star Gemini 10X/15X to work with it (he was previously
using it with a C64).
He is having no problems using it with text programs, but every time
he tries to print graphics, it inserts extra spaces between graphics
passes. He's tried using it with Quattro, 1-2-3 and Harvard Graphics,
with no luck. We've tried sending it the escape codes to alter line
spacing before invoking these programs, but they must reset it.
Does anyone out there have any ideas? We've tried telling the
above programs we have basically every low-end Epson printer to
no avail, and the printer's manual makes no mention of what kind of
printer it's compatible with. For 1-2-3, I've tried using the
Symphony Install program to set it up as a Gemini 10X/15X, but
every time I try this, 1-2-3 complains about the keyboard driver (go
figure!).
As I said, please reply be e-mail, because our news feed is very
