I realized yesterday that I had stuck my foot in my mouth again. The graphics machine was indeed the 2000. The 1200 HD was an XT clone, complete with IBM-like keyboard, but it still was not a full compactible. I know someone who has one and is having trouble finding an EGA board for it (read 3rd party) and has several programmes (I forget what) that will not work, although they will run on a 1000 (no SX, TX, SL, TL or HX here). I have beta tested several things for Tandy (mostly Trackstar boards made by diamond) and have become very disallusioned with the company. I currently do my work on a 4000 and am having problems with DesqView and high ram. Maybe one Tandy WILL produce a real compatible and that these "almost 100%" compatibles. I know that the 1000 is a "PC-jr clone" although its graphics modes are not accessable with jr software (TGA). -bryon-
