[net.movies] The Thing

  The Thing is based on John Campbell's clasic "Who Goes There?"
and follows the storyline quite faithfully.

  The original Thing is not faithful to "Who Goes There?" and
yet is still a good movie. James Arnes as a great vegetable
monster made the movie.
