Ok, here is a question for all those who think that they can answer. I have 386 with a 311 meg hard drive. The drive is sectioned into four partitions. The last partition is reserved for DOS 4.01. The first three partitions are reserved for OS/2 1.1 extended. My question is this: I would like to be able to have the choice of booting off either the OS/2 or the DOS partitions. Maybe the machine would somehow 'partially' start up, and then prompt me what partition I wish to boot from. For all those familiar with XENIX, the XENIX boot screen does a similar trick, allowing the user to choose between using the Xenix bootup or the DOS bootup. Does anyone have any idea how this might be accomplished? Any information or pointers to some information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Paul D. Walker walker @ ug.cs.dal.ca
