[comp.sys.ibm.pc] lisp mode for micro emacs

Hi,
Has anyone out there any idea how to get parenthesis
checking going under micro-emacs? (It's not built in.)
    Thanks,

I would suggest you investigate using JOVE (Jonathan's Own Version of EMACS),
which has a fine Lisp mode. It's capable of real-time prettyprinting of Lisp
code as entered, search by s-expression, and has a couple of other Lisp oriented
features. JOVE runs on UNIX mainframes, PCs, MACs and other platforms.

Re Jove:

I used to use Jove, but I could never get the E/VGA (43/50-line) mode to work
properly, so I switched to MicroEmacs. If I'd had the sources to it (and
if they had been turbo c compileable) I would have checked it out...

Thanks,
