After a week I have recieved several responces about movies.s, and most were against it. I did recieve 2 favorable responces and one responce that didn't really want any new newsgroups, but wasn't against it. Since so many were against it. I will not create movies.s. My concern is that most who were against it gave only as a reason, that there are too many groups already. That is the sound of a dying network. Maybe movies.s should not be created, it only seemed to solve a problem, but just to be against any new group? There is pressure on a lot of us to prove that netnews is worth its weight. We should be adding newsgroups in the fields of UNIX, and associated hardware. Why is everyone so against any new news group? Gary Mann (we53!glm)
