[comp.sys.ibm.pc] 386sx - re-revisited

Hey, the new issue of PC-Mag reminded me of one use for the
386SX! Portables!!! It seems that it has a "nap" mode that slows
everything done to 1 Mhz when nothing is going on. (This might be
raised to 16 Mhz when the new CMOS IV chip arrives.) So, the next time
you are reading the screen and someone bothers you in a loud voice, tell
them to be quiet because your computer is sleeping.

For those of you who did not believe me when I said that the 286
will be king, read this same issue. In my opinion (yes I done have
them, if seldom), Intel should make nothing below the 286. No more
8088/86 chips!!! Until they do, DOS will be the "standard."
