I have a problem the keyboard on one of the ATs on our lab.
The machine is an IBM AT model 5170, the keyboard is an IBM 101-key keyboard.
The problem is, when I use the alt or control key to the RIGHT of the space
bar, they are toggled on until I type the corresponding key to the LEFT of the
space bar, which toggles them off. This is annoying!
This happens even with keyboards that work fine on other ATs, so it
must be a problem with the this particular AT. I am sure there are no
keyboard enhancement programs running, and I am not doing anything funny in
config.sys or autoexec.bat.
Has anyone experienced anything like this before? Please, some ideas on
how to fix it?
